Powerwave Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:PWAV) today introduced its next generation 1800/1900 MHz MCPA solution for global network operators. The G3L-1929-120 MCPA is the latest release in the Powerwave family of high performance, low cost, coverage and capacity solutions for network operators. The G3L-1929-120 MCPA is the highest performance Powerwave product to date for this market and its multi-protocol capability provides network operators with a path from GSM to W-CDMA without requiring a change or upgrade to the amplifier. The MCPA’s compact size and modular platform architecture enables multiple configurations to meet a variety of coverage and capacity growth applications for both indoor and outdoor environments.
