Powerwave Technologies' Khurram Sheikh Keynotes at WNCG Texas Wireless Summit 2010
Company’s Chief Product and Development Officer Discusses “Inside Out: The Future of Mobile Broadband”

Powerwave Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:PWAV), a global leader in end-to-end wireless coverage and capacity solutions, announced today that Khurram Sheikh, chief product and development officer and chairman of the company’s technical advisory board, presented the industrial affiliate keynote speech at the University of Texas at Austin Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG) Texas Wireless Summit 2010.
Sheikh’s talk defined the future of mobile broadband in terms of a unique technology and service architecture Powerwave calls "inside out." Cutting edge performance of key technology components, service elements, network architectures and systems will be mirrored with the realities of the laws of physics and economics to show the roadmap for true ubiquitous wireless broadband for the next one to five years. Current thought processes will be challenged with some groundbreaking technology advancements with an "upside down" view of the wireless user experience.

The summit was held on Tuesday, November 16 from 7:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center at the University of Texas.
