Supporting 2G, 3G, 4G and WiFi a/b/g/n protocols, Powerwave’s Performance Boost solution can be deployed both indoors and outdoors to provide a wireless coverage performance boost for high-traffic venues such as stadiums, casinos, airports and resorts, across hospitals or business campuses, or to support special events. The solution balances loads on traditional cellular networks by offloading data onto an ultra-broadband integrated DAS and WiFi network within the specified coverage zone.
Powerwave’s Performance Boost solution provides additional capacity and data throughput when existing spectrum is fully utilized. The solution can be tailored to meet customers’ specific needs.
Compatible with all current cellular wireless technologies and WiFi standards, Powerwave’s Performance Boost is the only solution on the market today offering neutral hosts, carriers and new entrants within the wireless space multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) capability – resulting in significant increases in data throughput and link range without requiring additional bandwidth or transmit power.
The Performance Boost solution compliments Powerwave’s line of Coverage Systems solutions which improve wireless coverage, signal quality and capacity – even in the most challenging indoor and outdoor environments – while driving down capital and operating expenses.
