NetWay

Powerwave introduces its NetWay solution suite providing an answer to runaway operating expenses and maintenance requirements associated with today’s highly complex wireless networks.

The suite is a family of hardware and software solutions that networks remotely adjustable antennas, repeaters, distributed antenna systems and auxiliary cell site equipment, such as cooling systems, enabling cost effective and efficient remote management and network optimization. The new offerings comprise three specific solution areas: NetWay for Antenna Management, NetWay for Repeater Management and NetWay for Site Management.

Faced with burgeoning subscriber volume across multi-carrier networks and the introduction of new wireless service offerings across multiple platforms, operators are realizing the increase in potential points of network failure and maintenance costs are rising exponentially. Additionally, they face intense quality of service demands, making “down time” and poor performance unacceptable.
