RapidFlex combines Powerwave’s rugged VersaFlex 7.0 and VersaFlex 9.0 equipment shelter, or MicroFlex outdoor equipment cabinets with a hydraulic powered telescoping tower to create a lightweight, compact fully self-contained portable communications site to accomplish whatever mission is at hand. RapidFlex is offered in a variety of configurations ranging from 3500 lb. to 22500 lb. GVWR rated trailers.

DEPLOYMENT
You get a mobile communications site that is rapidly deployable – up and running in less than 30 minutes with only one person. The tower is completely self-supporting ranging from 10M to 50M and earth- or self-guy capable, eliminating structural and engineering concerns and hassles in urban environments. The tower can support a variety of products such as surveillance cameras, search lights and a multitude of communication antennas, including low profile mobile satellite antennas for backhaul of voice and data. The tower can also support up to 650 lbs. of payload. Hydraulic operated towers eliminate the need for external cables and electric motors that tend to be points of failure in lattice designs. In keeping with Powerwave’s ongoing effort to design environmentally friendly products, we use biodegradable hydraulic fluid designed for the toughest operating environments (-70ºF to 175ºF).

NETWORK EQUIPMENT
With VersaFlex equipment shelters, you get high equipment capacity to accommodate whatever infrastructure is required. All equipment and cabling is housed on sliding racks, providing ease of maintenance and flexibility to accommodate additional gear and new technologies going forward. Alternatively, MicroFlex outdoor equipment cabinets provide a low cost solution to house your indoor rated BTS equipment.

POWER GENERATION
RapidFlex also offers fully contained power generation to address power availability considerations. Temporarily power the unit using generators, or do so on a more permanent basis to meet the needs of remote regions.

TRANSPORTATION
What’s more, RapidFlex is lightweight and easily transportable. RapidFlex’s low profile design yields a compact travel height and is equipped with a standard hitch. No commercial driver’s license is required; and standard half-ton to 1-ton pickups can be used for hauling, eliminating the need for special transportation permits.
