Antenna Tilt Configuration Files
Antenna tilt configuration files contain information needed by the RET controllers to identify which antenna type it is connected to. It also contains the necessary data about the antenna in order to set the correct tilt angle.
Antennas delivered with pre-mounted RET units already have the correct antenna tilt configuration file installed.

| The antenna tilt configuration files are used for RET controllers to make it possible to calibrate the antennas. It programs the tilt range for each antenna so the antenna can be accurately calibrated and tilt to the proper downtilt angle. The AISG HEX files are for using with our Powerwave Master Control Unit when antennas were purchased separately from the RET motors. If using a Kathrein controller and loading our antenna tilt configuration files, you will instead need to use the AISG DAT files. If using another vendor’s antennas and motors, please contact that vendor for their antenna tilt configuration files. |
